Welcome To The World Of Helping Hands.

Introduction

Sahara Foundation (SF) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) established in January 2007 by a group of enthusiastic youths with the aim to provide education for the children who are deprived from education. SF is registered with the Government of Nepal in Lalitpur Chief District Office and also affiliated with the Social Welfare Council . SF plans to give both academic and vocational education to the children. SF will look after the children until they become financially independent. SF will have its own course of studies which focuses on the individual teaching because we believe quality education must facilitate the student to turn out to be a professional in the field where they have innate skill and interest. A team of newly entered Young Members, 10 Founder Members along with the special guidance of our International Consultant, Mr. Dhane Blue, the advisors Dr. Jeevan Jyoti Nakarmi and Mr. Sushil Maharjan, is continuously working towards the organizational goal.

Strategies

Fund Raising Phase
We strongly believe that the donation and grants must not be the basis of survival for any Social Service Organization. It must have a financial source of its own. SF is still working out to find the financial source of its own. In order to accomplish the objectives of SF, the required fund is being raised by launching multiple programs. We are organizing various fund raising events such as Dance Parties, Exhibitions, Street Festivals etc. As a part of fund raising campaign, we also published a monthly magazine entitled "Einstein" which is full of information providing inspiration for the youths to work enthusiastically in any field they opt to.
Empowering the Youths
As stated above, SF embraces various projects in order to raise the required fund. In the course of working towards the goal we also put parallel emphasis on youth empowerment by providing an opportunity to participate in the activities conducted by the SF. We are inviting open members to join the SF and participate in our activities which will give an abundance of real life experiences while on the field. The Volunteers joining the SF are not forced; but encouraged and expected to take an active participation in the projects. As the responsibilities are delegated in commensurate with the interest, experience and the qualification, we put no age or qualification bar for the membership. The experiences and the knowledge gained by participating in these activities will definitely prove to be an invaluable asset for the career ahead. So, if you are interested, feel free to contact us. You are always welcome to join us and we will make full use of your free time, potentiality and also heighten your personality to a next level.
